Upgraded to pro probes and they worked like a charm. Love the smaller diameter probes which worked great in chicken thighs. The thermometer pouch is awesome. Makes storing the thermometers easy.
I'm at 6850ft Altitude so I have issues with my Big Green Egg XXL.
Needs a Fan for normal operation. Temp control has been rough. Fireboard removes all difficulties. 22.5 hr smoke on two pork butts perfect!!!!

I really like my FireBoard 2 and I needed another ambient probe to leave in a second smoker. Now I can monitor both when doing multiple meats.
I got decent signal without the antenna, but on cooks where I was taking something inside to rest/cambro I had to decide between my wired probes monitoring the pit and another protein or the Pulse because with the standard range I couldn't do both. I finally caved and snagged the S1G and now I get a fairly strong signal through multiple walls and roughly 80' away and the only decision now is how long do I wait for a thinner diameter Pulse to be developed before I cave and just buy more of the standard Pulse probes to compliment my assortment of wired K probes...
I only had 2 meat probes and I’d bent my chamber thermometer. I bought the extreme probe pack & got the free gift. They’ve already served me well. Thank you Fireboard!
The tee is a very comfortable fit. It is definitely soft. It is breathable and cooling while wicking away sweat. The only criticism I have is: i wish there were different colors available. White, charcoal.
I would strongly recommend this item.

I have used other fan assist blowers on my offset smoker. Fire board is the most true temperature control and blower system that I’ved in decades! On the Fourth of July this year 2025 I receive my system the day before,I did a pre-cook just so I knew how it would work on the fourth. I Cook two baby back ribs tomahawk steak and smoked sausage, the only issue I had was with my first attempt making Texas Twinkies which was a disaster. Not because they were not cooked perfectly, but the jalapeños were extremely hot😩 Even though I thought I took out All of the seeds and the veins 🤷🏽♂️😩 I am excited for Thanksgiving to smoke my turkey and also for Christmas when I will smoke my prime rib! After watching all of the YouTube regarding fire board system, I reached out to the company and spoke with Wendy in customer service who answered all of my questions.,which helped me decide if I wanted to purchase the fire board system! Oh it was a fire board drive it has six ports which I was wondering why I would need that many and then when I did smoke the meat on the Fourth of July I used all of them. It’s great that I ordered the bundles. Which not only gave me six probes but also for the Fourth of July I received probe containers to store them in! Thank you fire board for the system! I don’t always go through a serious barbecue weekly but I’m ready for the holidays! Baird 👍🏽
I have had the FireBoard Drive Blower 3 for 3 weeks and so far I have found it a great user-friendly tool to accurately control cooking temperatures on my Kamado Joe and produce great results with ease

I finally saved up and bought a second Pulse. The all stainless version can stay in my cooks from low temp smoking to blazing fires for finishing a steak. Really a great product.
This is a perfectly engineered piece of equipment. It does everything I need it to do, without glitches, connectivity issues or guesswork. I just ran it for about 24 hours straight while getting ready for a large gathering, and it was an absolute dream.
I put my 2 new Pulses to work yesterday and I was really impressed. I used my gas grill to cook 2 extra-thick pork chops and they worked flawlessly.
I did not put them into the meat until I finished searing them at about 700 degrees. Once I moved them to indirect heat of about 350 degrees, I put a probe in each chop, then used the Fireboard Drive 2 to track wirelessly, and used my iPhone to display results.
Everything worked as advertised. When I pulled the meat at about 140 degrees, doneness was perfect.
Very easy to set up and use. I'm very pleased with the results.

An absolute game changer for my Kamado. It’s never been easier setting and maintaining temps.
I bought some additional pouches to store the rest of my probes. It keeps them neat and they stack nicely in the drawer.
I own 3 FireBoard temp control Drive 2 systems w fans, a couple dozens various probes, 2 Pulse wireless thermometers & a Spark instant read thermometer.
I believe this fact expresses my total satisfaction with FireBoard products.
Additionally, over the past decade I’ve had warranty issues twice which were resolved quickly w replacement units. This I’m also very happy with their customer support. No complaints.
Red color stays nice and consistent through several wash cycles so far 🙂
I have been very pleased with my competition probe. It is very responsive, and I like that it is a bit smaller than the standard probe. I am a backyard griller so it is easier to use.
