Tried the pulse on a couple roasts on my Yoder Smoker. It was easy to connect with the Yoder Smoker and worked perfectly. Roasts turned out perfect and temp readings were spot on.

Liking the wireless option, may have to add a few more to the collection!

The added range I get with the S1G antenna when running my new Pulse is amazing.

I’ve used FireBoard products before. Waiting on a new smoker.

I really like the 3rd Pulse I just purchased. It is nice, easy to use, connects really fast, no wires. The probe pouch is really nice, I like it better than the new ones from another company.

I did a 12 hour cook and it performed flawlessly

Love the Pulse. Bought two. Pairing very simple just pull it out of the charger and your app syncs up. Cooked 68lbs of
Pork shoulder and 30 lbs of turkey breast the first day I got them. Add a Bluetooth beacon so I can find them when lost and it would be 10 stars

I've been cooking on a Green Egg for almost 30yrs. and have eyeballed various temp. control systems, though I'm very proficient using the vents. Meanwhile I bought a Yoder YS640 which uses Fireboard as their control system. I was impressed with it on the Yoder with its information and options. So I took the plunge and purchased a fireboard 2, the vent fan, and Spark thermometer. The items integrate onto the App with the Yoder and make everything a breeze, especially if your doing multiple cooks at once. Recently we bought my daughter and son-in-law a Kamado Joe as a house warming gift. Also got them a Spark with a couple probes ,because it has wifi and you can plug a probe into it to either monitor the smoker or food temperature.
Told them I would get familiar with the smoker using the vents, and then consider getting the Fireboard 2 , especially for overnight cooks.
Comes down to this, if you cook and want guaranteed ,consistent results, that are achieved with the least trouble and inconvenience. Then get the Fireboard products. But don't take my word, get online, (YouTube etc.) and do your research. Then make the purchase, follow the instructions, and enjoy effortless results. It really is a no brainer. You will be so happy with your purchase your wife will be suspicious of your happy grin as you sip your drink of choice while multi tasking, (or watching the game).

Wish I knew about this sooner, missed the convenience of a pellet grill but loved the taste of a Kamado smoker more now I can have both. The drive 2 bundle is worth it every penny, what a killer machine.

Replaced my original probes that came with the Yoder YS640s with Fireboards competition probes. They were smaller than I thought they were going to be based on the site pic and the probe size that came with the Yoder (expected the same overall size), but I like the size of these better now after using them.

I purchase the FireBoard 2 pro with fan . Solid and slick design . I used it in my Coyote Asado grill , had to do some adjustments on the adapter plate , but overall waited very well . I smoked short beef ribs for about 8 hours and I had to go outside only once to put more charcoal , and they turned fantastic !. Overall , very pleased with the product , would definitely recommend !

Love it!!!! Only possible improvement is Kentucky blue!!!
